I'm so happy wide leg pants are back in stores. I buy them extra long so I can wear them with high heels. It gives the illusion you have long legs.With every outfit I love to incorporate vintage pieces. I've done so with all my accessories. It makes my outfit fell more personal more unique.

Nail Art: V- Gap

Being a college student on a budget I’m always trying different ways to spice up my manicure. I find doing my own manicures can be therapeutic and also saves me some dough. This week I was inspired by Sophy Robson “V-Gap” manicure.

I used OPI “here today aragon tomorrow”, Forever 21 gold nail polish and a clear top coat.

I started off by coating the OPI color in the middle of each nail

Using the gold nail polish I painted both sides of my nails leaving a little of the OPI color exposed in the middle

Once done and dry I applied the clear top coat. This is the final look.

5 things I'm obsessed with this week:

I’m always obsessed with Abby Lee. But I especially love pictures of models off duty. And can we mention her leopard coat. I have a similar one which I will be lending Stella for her trip to Canada.

Spring is almost here and I love these large leather clutches. They just look so soft. I’m going to attempt to make one out of some leather scraps I have at home. DIY are always fun. I’ll make sure to tweet and post pictures.

Nicole Richie has amazing style. She is the best model for her House of Harlow sunglasses. It’s a different twist on the classic cat eye. Black or Tan I can’t choose one. Maybe I’ll just have to get them both.

What’s not to love about classic red nails. I’ve been wearing this color all week. I love it so much because it’s perfect for work and also for happy hour with friends.

My birthday just passed and as a gift to myself I purchased a Canon S95. I wanted an amazing camera that took amazing pictures but that I could carry with me everywhere. I love love love this camera and it’s exactly what I wanted. I can’t seem to put it down.

Above are some of my favorite pieces of Givenchy's couture show yesterday. The collection is basically everything I want to wear at the moment. It was strong yet feminine. I loved the suites , jumpsuits, and evening gowns. Riccardo Tisci provided some insight behind what he envisioned for this collection by saying it was an "Idea of this strong, erotic phase of Parisian women".

Along with the amazing clothes the details stood on there own. The shoes that walked down the runway were these cute booties. I just wonder how they would feel on. The makeup gave us that sense of a strong women. Above are some examples and some back stage pics.

Spring '10 Couture Fashion Week kicked off yesterday in Paris. I was sad yesterday at the thought of me not being able to be there but Style.com made me happy this morning when pictures surfaced on there website. Above are images of the Christian Dior show. A show that truly took you through the mind of Galliano. A women riding side saddle was the inspiration behind this collection. Beautiful ball gowns and perfectly crafted jackets with long riding skirts made its way down the runway accessorizes perfectly with huge jewelry, top hats and veils.

A part from the clothes being so beautiful so was the make up and the hair. Above are some backstage shots.

A realty show based on the life of Kelly Cutrone the founder on the PR firm People's Revolution. And for most of you who have already seen Cutrone in action you know she has one of the strongest voices in fashion. Never sugar coating anything to spare someones feelings. She call it like it is which i'm sure is going to cause a lot of drama on the show. Come on who doesn't like to see drama after a long day. Kell on Earth starts Feb. 1st at 10:00pm on Bravo.

Vogue Italia showcases "Stylish Women" as this months cover subject. Which had me thinking what is your definition of a stylish women? Is it the glamorous clothing she wears or is it the way a women exudes confidence in what she is wearing that make what ever she has on stylish?
Regardless the editorial is beautiful and fierce but is it a reality or is it better to live in this fantacy world where bunny ears are cute on a grown women?

Soon came my obsession with the black and white oxfords. Much to my excitement I found a pair from Target but then my heart was broken in two when they were no longer available. I'm a really picky person and I won't buy something till I find the perfect pair. So my search for the perfect oxfords continues. Opening Ceremony in Tokyo is set to open on August 30,2009 and it going to be a GRAND opening. The 8 level department store will have the concept of a "mini mall"where there will be designated brand shops within the store, as well as each level will have it own unique theme.
